Part of a large mixed-use development in Crestwood, this new location for beloved local chain Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria uses simple materials (brick, concrete panels, and corrugated metal) organized as a collection of three interlocking volumes to create a dynamic anchor for the site. The interior is a light, open space, with three dining areas flowing together, an open kitchen featuring a wood fired pizza oven, as well as a sizable outdoor, covered patio. A series of large windows are strategically placed to create connections to the outside and bring light into the open dining areas.

Claverach Farm
For Claverach Farm, the original 120-year old barn on the property was renovated and restored for dining and events. An openness to the outdoors allows the farm-to-table experience to be about the setting as much as the food itself (which is unbelievably good).

Located in Town and Country, this otherwise nondescript location of Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria transforms the strip-mall building into a rich experience of light and materials. A well-detailed pergola defines outdoor space while also providing relief from the light and heat of St. Louis summers. Inside, a light and inviting palette brings a calm airiness to the bustling restaurant.
Nantucket House
Located in relatively dense suburban neighborhood in St. Louis, this new-build home takes advantage of its sloped, wooded site by organizing the main living spaces to the rear — maximizing its connection to nature, while minimizing its proximity to neighbors.
